Hot & Cold Water Jet Services

Hydro Jetting & Drain Cleaning in Miami, FL

A snake punches a hole through a blockage. A hydro jet scours the pipe back to its original diameter. For grease, scale and roots, jetting is the repair that actually lasts.

Hydro jetting drives water through a specialised nozzle at pressures high enough to strip years of grease, soap scale, sludge and root hair off the inside wall of a drain or sewer line. Hot water jetting adds heat, which is what finally breaks down the congealed fat that defeats cable machines in restaurant lines.

Lorente Plumbing Services runs both hot and cold water jet equipment for residential and commercial drains across Miami-Dade, and we camera the line before and after so you can see what changed.

Where hydro jetting is the right tool

Restaurant and commercial kitchen lines

Grease-laden waste lines that clog every few weeks between the sinks and the grease trap. Hot water jetting resets them properly.

Main sewer laterals

The line from the building to the city main, where roots and sludge accumulate and cause whole-property backups.

Root intrusion

Cutting nozzles remove root masses growing through joints, then the camera shows whether the joint itself needs repair.

Scale and mineral buildup

South Florida's hard water leaves deposits that narrow older cast iron and galvanized lines from the inside.

Storm drains and area drains

Yard drains, parking-lot drains and downspout lines packed with silt, sand and leaves.

Preventive maintenance programs

Scheduled quarterly or semi-annual jetting for restaurants and property managers who would rather not close for a backup.

When to jet instead of snake

  • The same drain clogs again within weeks of being cleared
  • More than one fixture backs up at the same time
  • Gurgling from a toilet when the washing machine drains
  • Sewer odour inside or around the building
  • Slow drainage across an entire commercial kitchen
  • A camera inspection showing grease or scale coating the pipe wall
  • Roots visible in the line or a history of root intrusion
  • A line that has never been cleaned in ten years or more

Camera first, jet second

We do not jet blind. A video camera inspection tells us the pipe material, its condition and whether it can take full pressure. Old, cracked cast iron gets a different approach than sound PVC, and a broken line needs repair rather than cleaning.

That inspection also gives you proof of the result: the same camera goes back down the line when the jetting is finished.

FAQ

Hot & Cold Water Jet / Hydrojet — frequently asked questions

Will hydro jetting damage my pipes?

Not when it is done correctly. We inspect the line by camera first and match the pressure and nozzle to the pipe material and condition. Lines that are too deteriorated to jet get repaired instead.

How long does hydro jetting last?

For a residential line with no structural defect, typically years. For a busy commercial kitchen, a scheduled interval of three to six months keeps the line from ever backing up.

Is jetting better than snaking?

For grease, scale and roots, yes. A cable opens a channel; a jet cleans the full diameter. For a simple isolated obstruction, a cable may be all that is needed — and we will tell you so.

Do you offer maintenance contracts for restaurants?

Yes. We set up recurring jetting and grease trap pumping schedules for commercial kitchens across Miami-Dade.
