In Florida, contracting without the correct license is not a technicality — it is a criminal offense, and work performed by an unlicensed contractor can void insurance coverage, fail at inspection and follow a property all the way to closing. Every job Lorente Plumbing Services Inc. performs is covered by one of the four state certifications below.

Certified licenses (the ones prefixed C) are issued at the state level and are valid statewide, not only in one county. Each number below can be checked against the DBPR licensee database.

CBC1267222

Certified Building Contractor

Authorises construction, remodeling, repair and improvement of commercial and residential structures. This is the license behind our general remodeling, additions, whole-house repipes with wall restoration, and any plumbing job that requires opening and rebuilding structure.

CMC1251278

Certified Mechanical A/C Contractor

Covers mechanical systems including gas piping, water heating, ventilation and air conditioning work. This is the license that allows us to install, extend, pressure-test and repair natural gas and propane lines, and to handle water heater and mechanical installations to code.

CCC1335728

Certified Roofing Contractor

Covers roofing installation and repair. In plumbing terms it means vent stacks, roof penetrations, flashing and roof drains are ours to do correctly — one of the most common places where a plumbing job creates a leak that nobody comes back to fix.

CUC1226156

Certified Underground Utility & Excavation Contractor

Covers underground utilities and excavation: sewer mains and laterals, water mains and services, storm drainage and septic systems. This is what lets us camera a failed sewer line and then dig it up and replace it ourselves, rather than handing the job to an excavation subcontractor.

Insured, bonded and guaranteed

Licensing is only half of it. Lorente Plumbing Services Inc. carries insurance on every job we perform, and our workmanship is guaranteed. Certificates of insurance are available on request for property managers, associations and commercial clients who need them on file before work begins.

FAQ

Licensing and insurance questions

How can I verify your Florida contractor licenses?

All four license numbers can be looked up on the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation licensee search. The numbers are CBC1267222, CMC1251278, CCC1335728 and CUC1226156.

Are you insured as well as licensed?

Yes. Lorente Plumbing Services Inc. carries insurance on all work performed. Certificates of insurance are available on request, and we can name additional insureds where a lease or management agreement requires it.

Why does a plumbing company hold a roofing license?

Because plumbing vents and stacks pass through the roof, and roof drains are plumbing. Holding CCC1335728 means we can flash, seal and repair those penetrations properly instead of leaving a hole for another trade.

What does the underground utility license let you do?

License CUC1226156 covers sewer mains, water mains, septic systems and underground excavation. It is what allows us to replace a sewer lateral or dig up a water service ourselves rather than subcontracting it.

Do you pull permits under these licenses?

Yes. Permitted work is pulled under our licenses and we meet the county or municipal inspector ourselves.
