On a new build, the plumbing contractor sets the pace for everyone else. Underground has to be in and inspected before the slab pours, top-out has to be complete before drywall, and trim has to land in the window before the certificate of occupancy. Miss one of those and the whole schedule slides.
Lorente Plumbing Services works as a Florida certified building contractor (CBC1267222) with mechanical, roofing and underground utility licenses attached. On a new construction project that means fewer subcontractors to coordinate and fewer gaps for something to fall through.
Sanitary and storm below slab, sleeves, cleanouts and stub-ups set to the plan and inspected before the pour.
Tapping the main, running the service and connecting the lateral — performed under our underground utility license.
Supply distribution, drain, waste and vent risers, hangers and fire-stopping installed to code and ready for inspection.
Load-sized gas piping to ranges, dryers, water heaters, pool heaters and generators, pressure-tested and permitted.
Sealed and flashed properly under our roofing contractor license — a common source of leaks when it is left to another trade.
Fixture setting, water heater start-up, pressure testing, disinfection where required, and walkthrough with the builder or owner.
Not every new-construction job starts from bare ground. Additions, accessory dwelling units and full gut renovations carry the same rough-in-to-trim sequence with the added complexity of tying into an existing system that may be decades older than the new work.
We evaluate the existing service, meter and lateral capacity before we design the tie-in, so the new bathroom does not cost the rest of the house its water pressure.
